Who can join PHITA?

Membership is open to individuals and entities involved in the tourism, hospitality, and cultural sectors.

This includes:

• Tour operators and travel agencies.

• Heritage site managers and curators.

• Students and educators in tourism/history.

• Government representatives and NGOs.

How do I apply for membership?

The application process is entirely digital. You can click the "Join Now" button or Scan the QR code on our homepage, fill out the online registration form, and upload the required supporting documents.

What documents are required to join PHITA?

For Individual: DTI/Business permits/BIR Certificate of registration

For Corporate: SEC / Business Permits / BIR Certificate of registration

DOT or TPB accreditation certificate is preferred but not mandatory

When will slots be opened? / Why are there no available appointment slots?

If you do not see available online appointment slots, it does not necessarily mean that they have been completely taken up.

Please CLICK REFRESH as online appointments become available from time to time.

Is obtaining an appointment from fixers and passport appointment assistance services illegal?

Yes, it is a violation of the law. Violators will be prosecuted and barred from applying for passport. Appointments not made through http://passport.gov.ph are not legitimate appointments.

What are the requirements for Passport Online Appointment System?

A working computer with internet access.
A Web Browser. (Internet Explorer ver.11 or higher / Mozilla Firefox ver.45 and up recommended)
A valid and working email address to receive system-generated messages.
A PDF reader and a working printer to view and print the system-generated application form in A4-size paper.

What will happen if I do not have an email address.

A valid and working email address is very important. You may subscribe to any free email service like Yahoo! or Gmail. Just make sure that you have activated your email account prior to using Online Appointment System.

I used wrong/invalid email address.

A valid and working email address is very important. If incorrect, your reserved appointment will be cancelled after 5 days. You may re-apply again after system cancellation

I did not receive email notification.

Depending on your email provider and configuration settings, the system-generated email may be incorrectly tagged as spam and delivered to your JUNK/SPAM folder. Check your spam folder for emails if no message appears in your Inbox after a considerable amount of time.

I made a mistake in filling out my application form. Will this affect my application? Will my appointment be cancelled?

The application form may be corrected based on your documents on the day of your appointment. Please tell the passport processor about it.Please be reminded that any incorrect information that is inputted in the application form may result in delay in your application. Any misrepresentation on your part may be considered grounds for refusal or cancellation of your appointment.
